An Open Letter To All

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8

Hello and thank you to all friends, loved ones and family of Tamala Nikki Wells... As many of you know, Nikki’s family is still praying and hoping to find her and bring her home.  The search and subsequent hardships involved in this process have brought about stress, financial struggle, restlessness, and worry; but more importantly, a strong sense of faith and hope that God will bring Nikki home. Nikki's mother, Donna, has utilized every ounce of energy and financial asset available, as she resides in Florida and has to make frequent trips to Michigan to aid with the search, which has been very taxing for her emotionally and physically. The search has been draining in every way imaginable. Beyond this, Nikki’s children need her more than ever. The burden of searching for Nikki has exhausted many of the resources needed to support her children through this eventful time in his life.  Energy and funds that would normally be allocated toward the family's needs have been exhausted in continuing this family’s year long search. Nikki's family and dear friends have made many sacrifices to continue this search and countless different options for funding have been explored, and the family has taken the steps to set up a dedicated account for those who are willing and able to help with this process. The family is in serious need of not only resources, but INFORMATION that will lead them to any answers. Tamala's children are in need of their mother, and she would never walk away from them. She loves them too much and she is far too dedicated to ever leave them. She is a family oriented person and she would never miss a birthday, a graduation, or a holiday with her family. Too much time has passed, and too many questions have remained unanswered. Please remember that every little bit helps. These funds have many different purposes, from the purchase of materials for flyers, to the creation and preservation of content on the web, to supporting her children as they struggle through this difficult time, to a reward for information, the list goes on. The goal is to make our voices loud enough to be heard by all, and to make sure that this search continues tirelessly.   Many voices are needed, and we ask that you find it in your heart to keep spreading the word, keep praying, and if at all possible, donate to the cause of bringing Nikki home. Grab a shirt from us, post to facebook, call the authorities and ask questions, do whatever you can do for Nikki, we will be eternally grateful.  Below is the information for the donation account that we’ve set up for her:

We ask for help from any of you that know Nikki's family, from best friends to former classmates, family to distant acquaintances. This missing mother, daughter, and sister still needs any energy or resources that you can give. This case has not been solved, and our loved one has not been found. There has been little help from any authority, state or federal. Your support means the world to this family, and it is ALL THAT WE HAVE. Thank you for everything. The continuing prayers, kind words, wishes, and assistance have been a true blessing. Again, thank you, and God bless.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10

Information Regarding Tamala's Disappearance

Published August 15, 2012 -

Detroit police are asking the public for information on the whereabouts of a mother missing for nine days.
FOX 2's Amy Andrews reports Tamala Wells, 33, was last seen leaving her home on 19000 block of Appleton in her white Grand Prix on Aug 6. Police say the vehicle was recovered three days later, but with no sign of Wells.

Tamela's mother, Donna Davis, flew in from Florida this week to help search for her daughter. "I can't even describe what's going on inside me," said Davis. "These are feelings that I've never, ever felt before. I just want her home."

Wells lives with her boyfriend of 15 years and has a six-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son, who lives with Davis in Florida.

Wells is described as five-foot, six-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP
