Information Regarding Tamala's Disappearance
Published August 15, 2012 -
Detroit police are asking the public for information on the whereabouts of a mother missing for nine days.
FOX 2's Amy Andrews reports Tamala Wells, 33, was last seen leaving her home on 19000 block of Appleton in her white Grand Prix on Aug 6. Police say the vehicle was recovered three days later, but with no sign of Wells.
Tamela's mother, Donna Davis, flew in from Florida this week to help search for her daughter. "I can't even describe what's going on inside me," said Davis. "These are feelings that I've never, ever felt before. I just want her home."
Wells lives with her boyfriend of 15 years and has a six-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son, who lives with Davis in Florida.
Wells is described as five-foot, six-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP
